Missions

The Bible commands Christians to go and tell the Good News. This is our MISSION! Whether it is in Santa Fe, other areas of the U.S., or remote areas of the world. We long for the establishment of Christ's Kingdom on this earth. Imagine a world where there is true justice. A world where none are suffering. But, Jesus said, that before that time can come "this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." Matt. 24:14. We understand that Missions is one of the life purposes that all Christians are called to fulfill. Our Missions Pastor, Jim Noble, is eager to talk to you about all areas of missions. We believe that supporting a few missions projects with larger sums is more helpful than supporting many missions with small contributions. We have chosen several missions projects for regular, long-term support. Our philosophy of Missions is that one needs to develop relationships with people in order to minister to them. If there are physical needs, we seek to help with those needs, but we always add a spiritual dimension to the outreach through talking to people about their need for salvation, praying with them, encouraging them to attend a church, and discipling them. We hope that all who attend our church will become involved in fulfilling the Great Commission in their own lives.
