Mission Statement

The Light at Mission Viejo Christian Kinship Ministry supports our single adult members who are in the age group of 30+ years. This ministry is focused on the helping single adults live full and godly lives and ministering to the challenges they face as single adults. The ministry committed to evangelical outreaches, prayer, serving, helps ministries, bi-monthly bible studies and times of fellowship for single adults. The ministry seeks to reach out to the unsaved and lost to share the hope of salvation in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Our Purpose

This ministry is focused on helping single adults, ages 30+ live full and holy lives. Ministering to the challenges they face as singles is our key purpose. The ministry is committed to evangelical outreaches, prayer, serving, bimonthly Bible studies and times of fellowship. We seek to reach out to the unsaved and lost to share the hope of salvation in Jesus Christ.

Ministry Philosophy

The ministry offers a safe, family-like environment that allows members to develop Christian friendships, gain support from other members and leaders, carry each other burdens, share joyous times and hold each accountable to live holy, righteous and Godly lives.

Our Activities

Monthly Fellowship Event—The members gather once a month for a time of fellowship and fun. Group activities are organized which allow for an opportunity to invite unsaved friends or lost acquaintances and a time to enjoy wholesome and Godly entertainment.

Singles “Out to Lunch Bunch”

Ministry members will join each other for lunch once a month for a time of fellowship and soul nurturing relationships. This time will present an opportunity to invite other singles that are not active participants in the regular Bible studies and other activities to join them. It is also an opportunity to invite visiting singles.

Annual Sabbatical/Retreat

Coming together for an annual summer weekend retreat for the purpose of growing spiritually with each other and on an individual basis. Sound Biblical teachings will be presented by the speaker. Activities are planned for entertainment, group prayer and ministry as well as individual spiritual meditation and prayer.
